R1000,00 reward

Pniel between Stellenbosch and Franschoek

After returning from work on Monday the 17th of February 2020 at 16h00, the owner discovered that Luna, a trainee Search And Rescue K9, was not present on the property. A section of the boundary fence was found to be “open”. Luna was last seen at 11h00 on Monday morning, and it is believed that she went missing between 11h00 and 12h00 the same day.

A search of the immediate farm area which is close to Boschendal ensued. WSAR members of the K9 Search And Rescue unit were accompanied by local volunteers who searched until after dark. On Tuesday morning, the operation resumed, and by late afternoon, the dog had still not been found.

It is thought that Luna may have escaped through the “open” fence, or that she may have been lured after it was compromised by an individual.

Should you spot Luna, please contact 0797866812 ASAP.
