Beaufort West and surrounds

A public is warning has been issued after it was reported that a lion has escaped from the Karoo National Park outside Beaufort West.

SANParks who is a signatory of WSAR has communicated the alert in the interests of public safety.

Any sighting of the lion should be reported to the police at 10111, to Nico van der Walt at 023 4152828 or at 082 801 2109.
